Wiper Module Test system-
Challenge: Develop automated test system for automotive wiper modules.
Solution: Developed LabVIEW based application which controls the complete production line for the modules. The system was capable of testing multiple modules simultaneously, datalog the results to database. The module was tested for timing parameters and power signal levels. Environment: NI PCI Cards, RS232 and GPIB
Radio Test System-
Challenge: Develop automotive radio unit Test system.
Solution: LabVIEW was used to control the complete standalone system and perform functional and vision test on the unit. Pneumatic cylinders were used to simulate the button push while the signal codes were verified using CAN interface. The system had the capability to perform Vision test on the unit to verify the color and text of the buttons. The knobs were rotated using stepper motors and the encoder counts were verified.
